Rail Transit Consultants, Inc. (RTC) was incorporated in January of 1986. The goal of the firm is to provide high quality engineering services to the rail transit industry. In 2006 a major equity interest in RTC was acquired by Kinkisharyo (USA) Inc. We are located in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, with local access to several major transit equipment suppliers. RTC is an organization of highly qualified professionals, with many years of experience, covering a broad spectrum of advanced-technology disciplines. The members of the firm have extensive experience in rail transit vehicle and wayside signaling / train control technology that includes equipment invention, design, documentation, application, testing, and analytical analysis.
